Frequently asked questions
At Underground Lasergame we use laser game taggers that are attached to a "swat" helmet with hit sensors. The helmet thus represents the hit zone that should be hit by the opponent. Each hit generates an acoustic and an optical signal. This ensures that everyone notices that a hit has been successfully placed. In different game variants with always different game objectives, it is important to land as many hits on the opponent as possible. Skill, speed and tactics count here.
Originally, laser tag was developed for the US military in the 1970s for exercise and training purposes. The toy industry marketed laser tag in the civilian sector. Thus, the first laser tag arena was built in Dallas in 1984.
No! Participation under the age of 16 is not possible at Underground Lasergame! The decisive factor for this age restriction is the special game location and the associated liability risk. For reasons of liability law, we cannot offer participation under the age of 16.
We, at Underground Lasergame, do NOT require parental consent. For players under the age of 18, it is necessary that parents are informed that you are at Underground Lasergame and playing lasertag.
Basically, laser tag is an exercise sport that is also suitable for children. From a purely educational point of view, however, one should consider whether children should play laser tag (which was originally developed for military purposes).
At Underground Lasergame, participation is only possible from the age of 16.
At Underground Lasergame, you can also book as a single person. We make sure that there are enough players at the same time so that the game makes sense and is fun for you.
Yes! As we are heavily booked, we recommend sending us an electronic booking request in advance.
The duration of a game round is influenced by the following factors:
- Number of participants in a game round
- Skill / speed of the participants
- The programming settings of the laser taggers
This means that it is not possible to say to the minute how long a game round will last. As a rule, a game round lasts between 8 and 20 minutes.
Yes please! We recommend that you arrive about 5 to 10 minutes early for a pre-booked game date. This ensures a better and more relaxed start to the game rounds.
Underground Lasergame offers fun sports. Fun for us does not mean that you endanger the safety of yourself or other participants during the game, for example by drinking alcohol. Please respect that alcohol and other intoxicating substances have no place here. For us, besides the fun of the game, the safety of each participant is at the top of our agenda. We fully understand that on special occasions, such as bachelor parties, alcohol is of course included. But please book your game package for such an occasion in such a way that you only consume alcohol after the laser tag event. Since it happens from time to time that participants come to our game intoxicated, we would like to point out that we reserve the right to exclude participants from the booked game for safety reasons. An exclusion from the game is of course also unpleasant for us and should of course only be the last resort. Therefore, we ask all participants to weigh up on their own responsibility and safety-consciously whether it is really necessary to go to a fun sports activity under the influence of alcohol.
When playing laser tag, it is important to wear closed shoes that allow you to move from point A to point B quickly and safely. High-heeled shoes or flip-flops, for example, are not suitable. Normal street clothes are sufficient. We recommend bringing a change of shirt and a towel, as laser tag can be a very sweaty sport.
Directly in front of our lasergame bunker there are public free parking spaces in the street area. We have no influence on these public parking spaces and therefore cannot guarantee availability. Alternatively, there are two guarded, paid parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of our premises.
Parking 1: Parking lot Martin-Gropius-Bau via access road Stresemannstraße
Parking 2: Parking lot Lidl Stresemannstraße 72-78 (underground car park)
For hygienic reasons, food is not allowed in the bunker. Drinks (non-alcoholic) are allowed with us.
